Hydropower is clean. It doesn't produce any greenhouse gases or other air pollution. It also doesn't generate any waste products that might need special handling or disposal. Because it's carbon-free energy, hydropower doesn't burn fossil fuels. Best of all, electricity from water is renewable
Geothermal energy has been used for thousands of years in some countries for cooking and heating. Geothermal energy does not produce any pollution, and does not contribute to the greenhouse effect.
Wind energy is fueled by the wind, so it's a clean fuel source. It doesn't pollute the air like power plants that rely on combustion of fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas. Wind turbines don't produce atmospheric emissions that cause acid rain or greenhouse gasses.
Wind energy relies on the renewable power of the wind, which can't be used up. It is one of the lowest-priced renewable energy technologies available today.
